1. What are Starter Templates? #
Starter Templates, or website templates, provide a pre-designed framework for creating a new WordPress website. They include styling options, pre-built page layouts, and other features to simplify the website creation process.
2. Are Premium Starter Templates Available With Responsive Pro? #
Yes, premium templates are available with Responsive Pro.
3. Will My Website Function Properly If My License Has Expired? #
Yes, your websites will continue functioning properly even if your license expires.
4. Do I Need to Download a .zip File to Import a Starter Template? #
No, you don’t need the .zip file to import starter templates. You can easily import templates using our Responsive Addons plugin.
5. Are Starter Templates a Child Themes for Responsive? #
No, Starter Templates are not a Child Theme.
Starter Templates are sets of website pages or design elements created by our team. These can be imported as a whole website or as individual pages/elements.
6. Can I Delete the Plugin After Importing a Template? #
Yes, you can delete the plugin without any issues after importing the starter template. The imported content will still work perfectly fine.
However, keep in mind that if you delete the Responsive Starter Templates plugin, you won’t be able to import any additional pages, templates, or pre-designed elements.
If you want to use them again, you can simply install and reactivate the plugin. Once you do that, all the options will become available.
7. Can I Import Starter Templates on an Existing Website? #
Yes, it is possible to import a full site or single pages/elements, without affecting your existing website content.
However, if you import a complete site template, it may change the appearance of your website as it comes with its own customizer settings and content.
This imported content can also become mixed up with your existing content.
8. How Can I Reset My Website After Importing Starter Templates? #
You can reset your website in several ways. To begin with, you can take the manual route by deleting plugins, pages, posts, and media files one by one.
Alternatively, you can use WP Reset, a plugin that can quickly and easily reset your website with just a few clicks.
9. Can I Use Images That Come With Starter Templates? #
It’s not recommended. We use stock and non-copyrighted (free) images from websites like Pexels, Pixabay, and Unsplash on all templates.
Additionally, we cannot accept legal responsibility for any claims if the policies of the mentioned websites change.
Therefore, we suggest that you replace all template images after importing them.
10. Why is My Starter Template Not Showing Up in WordPress? #
In the dashboard, under Responsive > Templates, you will observe a sync option in the library window.
Click on this option to refresh the library and fetch newly added templates. Once the sync is complete you will see all newly added templates in the list.
