- Create a new page – ‘Home’.
- Navigate to Appearance >> Customize >> Homepage in your WordPress dashboard.
- Set the ‘Home’ page as your Homepage.
The custom homepage template comes with 4 sections:
- Featured products
- Category Section
- Latest Products section
- Review section
Here’s how to customize these sections for your ecommerce store:
Featured Products
Showcase the products that you want to promoteย are displayed as a slider in the hero area of the homepage. To set featured products:
- Navigate toย WordPress Dashboard >> Products >> All Products.
- Click on the star next to mark a product as featured.
Store Categories
Your store’s categories are displayed here. To customize the category subtitle:
- Navigate to Appearance >> Customize >> Home Template.
- Set theย Product Categories Section – item subtitle text to set a category subtitle.
Latest Products
The latest products added to your store are displayed here. To customize the section title:
- Navigate toย Appearance >> Customize >> Home Template.
- Set the Latest Products Section – title.
Product Reviews
Showcase your best product reviews here.ย To change the title, background image, and side image:
- Navigate to Appearance >> Customize >> Home Template >>Product Reviews Section.
Shop, Cart & Account Templates

The shop page template comes with a sidebar with which you can filter products by category, price or search products using the product search widget.

You can also add Blog to your shop. Creating a Blog page is easy:
- Create a ‘Blog’ page.
- Navigate to Appearance > Customizer > Homepage.
- Set the ‘Blog’ page as your Posts Page.
