Hi, I have been using Responsive Pro for a number of years, simply because I can do so much with it. I have been using a Child theme during this time, but have not tried your Responsive Addons until now. Can you explain why when I import the Responsive AddOns Plugin it forces the use of Responsive theme (not Pro), and renders the Child theme ineffective? I like to make the three home widgets take up the full width of the page and run them down the page in a single column, they can then accommodate a Pagebuilder – this gives me fantastic layout possibilities.
Is there a way of using some Child Template files please?
Or at least, how to I reference a Child theme to Responsive whilst keeping the additional settings AddOns provides?6 days, 6 hours ago manishKeymaster
Thank you for writing to us.
We are sorry for the confusion.
The Responsive addons plugin does not work with the old Responsive pro theme.
It only works with the New Responsive theme.
Also, the Responsive theme is different from Responsive Pro theme so the child theme of responsive pro will not work with the New Responsive Pro theme.
If you want to continue with your current site design, please continue with the old Responsive Pro theme.
If you want a new site design, then use the New Responsive theme. you can also get ready sites to create your websites easily using Responsive addons with New Responsive themes.
