I can see that a great deal has changed regarding support for Responsive Free and the forum itself. Are you still supporting the theme?
I do hope you will reply to this question and this one below:
I use the the Responsive Free child theme. When you update the parent theme, I always update it in my WordPress. Do I have to update the child theme as well? Or is it sufficient to update the parent theme only?
By the way, what is Response Free? This is not Respnsive Free I take it?
Thank you.1 month ago prajakti.sahayKeymaster
Updating the child theme is not always mandatory, however, there might be cases that you should do so.
Consider this: You update the parent, and the update removes some of the core functions, which you use in the child theme. If you do not update your child theme too, you will receive a fatal error, since the function doesn’t exist anymore.
The best practice would be to read the changelogs of the parent theme before you update it and take proper actions before you update it. You might need to remove part of your child theme, add or edit its code, or nothing at all. It really depends on the parent theme’s update. Pay attention to errors in the PHP error log, and watch out for deprecation and notices.
Also, Response free is a different theme and is not related to Responsive free.

Dear Prajakti Sahay,
About the latest updates of Responsive Free (3.15 and 3.15.1): there seems to be a bug in them, concerning the standard template. The featured image (which only has to show in a link) is displayed on top of the page. Also de Main Sidebar is replaced by the Sidebar Right.
Please, can you and your other keymasters look into that?
Thanks so much in advance!

The problem is that in the old good days when support was excellent I could
track the changes easily by using Prepare diff (https://themes.trac.wordpress.org/diff? etc etc) and comparing whatever I found there between individual files (old and new side by side). But you don’t provide that any more. So how can i track the changes?
Also, it is extremely difficult for me to find my own posts here. How do i find them? I searched for my own name and it came up with nothing. I am sorry but it is very disappointing how the support deteriorated from the goodl old days – a pity because responsive Free is such an excellent theme.
