Hi, I’m working on an older site, http://www.felinerescue.org; it is Responsive Theme. I can’t figure out where the content in the top (main) section is coming from. The three sections below the main content are widgets (Home widget 1, Home widget 2, and Home widget 3). But I have no idea where the content from the top section is, or how to edit it. I’m not very savvy with WordPress; does anyone know where I should be looking?2 months, 1 week ago jimgParticipant
Look at Appearance/Customize/Header Content.
Hi Jim – thanks for your reply. The “header” contains only the logo; unfortunately the other content isn’t contained there. If you’ve got any other ideas I’d love to hear them!2 months ago jimgParticipant
What “other content” do you mean? All I see in your header is the logo.
If you mean the main navigation menu, you need to investigate “Menus.” This is standard WordPress functionality.
It’s all the content in the top section, that begins with “We need you!
FIND OUT WHY FELINE RESCUE VOLUNTEERS LOVE TO VOLUNTEER!…”
Does that make sense?2 months ago jimgParticipant
Is this only an issue on the home page? If so, look in Customize at settings for what displays on the home page. It may be that it is set to display blog posts, in which case look for that content in posts, perhaps with a “home page” category.
Only on the homepage. The homepage is set up to display “static posts,” not the blog posts.
