UPDATE – Responsive II now live on WordPress.org.
Moving to Responsive II is completely optional. Support for the original Responsive and Responsive Pro will continue. There is no Responsive II Pro and Responsive Add Ons is still just for the original Responsive, instead, there is a new companion plugin Pro Features that will add additional features.
We created Responsive II (codenamed: “Responsive Mobile”) as a separate theme because it has some big changes – like complete HTML5 support.
If you want to switch to Responsive II these are the changes you need to know about:
- HTML5 support, which means the markup and classes have changed. You will need to update any child themes when switching from Responsive to Responsive II.
- Page templates have been moved into a separate folder /page-templates/ for better organization. The actual page templates stay the same.
- The template parts have also been moved to a /template-parts/ folder.
- Bootstrap is no longer integrated.
What stays the same:
- All of the main settings.
- The sidebars, menus and page templates.

“Why won’t my website play videos on iPad anymore?
Will the pro fix this?”
I have not made any changes to the theme. I use a child theme to make all changes.
I have tried de-activating just about every plugin. Nothing works.
None of the videos work on the ipad. They show it, but when you click on them nothing happens.
It’s a membership site based on instructional videos so there are hundreds of youtube hosted videos.

IN my WordPress there is a warning “WARNING: There is a big Responsive Theme update available. Please read the update page before updating.”
however the link is not working it is redirecting to

Hello there! I’ve been new to WordPress for a while now (about 4 or so months) and I’ve been wondering, didn’t WordPress used to own the Responsive theme? If not, did the ownership move from WordPress to Cyberchimps? I’m just a bit confused, so I just wanted to clarify that up.
In addition, when can all of the Responsive users see the update on hubspot? Will the update be published here instead on this website?

I had the same problem as moscorp. I just want to check that this is the appropriate page for questions about the upgrade. Also, if I were to upgrade to Responsive II, if I have problems, will it be easy to migrate back to Responsive I, or would I need to restore?

Apologies for the delay in reply. Due to some technical issue we missed this topic.
You can safely update your theme. There was a broken link in the theme which was redirected to expire accounts page. It was a bug and we have fixed it and released another update.
The latest version of Responsive free theme is 2.2 and Responsive Pro theme is 1.4. Please update your theme and let me know if you are facing any issues.

My latest Responsive Pro version is 184.108.40.206 (07/28/2016), not got any notification of updates, when I view the logs I see there are five updates I’ve not got!
Also, as a long time “member” I got the Responsive II but can’t see it on my account, I’ve been planning to upgrade my site running Responsive Pro but never got the time to do so. Can you confirm I still have access to Responsive II?

I checked your order details and found that you have purchased Responsive pro theme on 25th July 2013. Your subscrption is expired and you will have to renew your product you get future updates and downloads.
Please renew your product and update your theme to be up to date.
Moreover can you please share your order number through which you have purchased Responsive II theme?
Also, can you please share your site URL?
