http 500 error

    I bought the Responsive Pro version today. After the installation (upload zip to wp-content/themes and unzip) and aktivate I get an HTTP 500 error.

    The main directory after unpacking is from the 8th of January 14:43.

    What did I do wrong?

    Hi,
    Can you please share your site URL?
    – Have you tried activating other themes? Is your site working when any other theme is activated?

    Can you please try installing the theme again from the WordPress admin access?

    Moreover, deactivating all the plugins first and then activate the theme.

    Hi,
    Thank you for answer!
    I’ve tried everything you mentioned above.
    I’ve re/deinstalled, uploaded via ftp,
    deactivated every other plugin. Downloaded from other computer (In case of (maybe) a memory problem).
    Everytime the same, when I activate it, i get this error.
    Then after hours I dropped the whole webspace and start from beginning.
    Installed Responsive Pro … activate … Error.
    Once more killed all. New WordPress
    but without Responsive Pro.
    I installed the free Responsive from WordPress.
    This works. So I cancled my subscription. I’ll use this one. The more I could get from the Pro is not enought for my time.
    Sh.. happens :-)
    Now it works fine.

    Hi,

    Oh – Sorry to know that! I tried installing the Responsive Pro on our test server and it is working fine. Can you let me know which PHP version you are using ? You can ask your hosting provider or use this link to get details http://php.net/manual/en/function.phpinfo.php

    Also if possible send me debug.log file of WordPress when you activated Responsive Pro so that I can try to check for any errors. How to set debug.log on site – get more details in https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress – Check Example wp-config.php for Debugging section.
