    I am running Responsive II with a child theme at http://www.usfundraising.com this site has no need for comments so I have turned off comments but “— No Comments ↓” still shows at the top of the page, how can I remove that?

    Thanks,
    Mark

    For those of you looking to remove “— No Comments ↓”

    Copy post-meta-page.php from your main theme to your child theme (if you don’t have a child theme look up WordPress child theme on google)

    My path looks like this ../wp-content/themes/responsive-mobile-child/template-parts/post-meta-page.php then comment out by adding the parts in BOLD text below to your php

    <!–<?php if ( ! post_password_required() && ( comments_open() || ‘0’ != get_comments_number() ) ) : ?>
    <span class=”comments-link”>
    <span class=”mdash”>—</span>
    <?php comments_popup_link( __( ‘No Comments ↓’, ‘responsive-mobile’ ), __( ‘1 Comment ↓’, ‘responsive-mobile’ ), __( ‘% Comments ↓’, ‘responsive-mobile’ ) ); ?>
    </span> –>

    that is it… it is gone now.

    Love,

    Mark
