    HI,

    I’m trying to put my email in the header at the left side (something like Brandon has but then an email). But when I go over to Header drag & drop I can’t seem te select Logo + contact. The only thing I can select is logo and no ather options. Also the copyright isn’t showing in the footer. It use to work with the free theme, but now I have the paid theme it’s gone. I also want to add more things in the footer like contact etc, but where can I do that. now I only have a black bar. I suppose to be able to do more with the paid theme, but I’m not so sure about that. What am I doing wrong. I work with wordpress an my site is http://www.perquinphotography.com

    Hi,

    I checked the theme and found that it support only logo element. If you want to add email in the header, you can add in the tagline which will be displayed at the top left corner.
    Please go to Appearance–>Customize–>Site Identity. Add your email in the tagline field. Save the changes and check for the result.

    You can add a text widget in the footer and then add a contact details and services in it. Please follow below Steps.
    1. Please go to Appearance–>Widget. Drag and drop “Text” widget in the Footer widget panel.
    2. Add your contact details in this Text widget and save it.
    3. Go to Appearance–>Theme option–>Footer and turn on the footer widget option. Save the changes and check for the result

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Milind,

    I managed to put the email in place and the copyright in the footer, but I still can’t put any other details in the footer of the theme. If I do so It will not appear in the dark side at the bottom, but just above in the lighter part (same place as my translate widget). Perhaps this is because I also use a translate widget which is also located in the footer area, but then in the lighter part. Can you still follow me? It took me an hour to reset everything, so pherhaps I will leave it this way. Maybe it isn’t posssible. Thanks for your help.

    Kind regards,
    Sandra

    Hi,

    Have you tried adding text widgets in footer widgets? Isn’t it helpful?

    Hi Milind,

    I’ve tried to put the text widget in the footer widget, but all the text will then appear in the white above the grey footer area. If you check out my website http://www.perquinphotography.com/ you see at the bottom the language widget (which also is placed in the footer widget, but is not actually appearing in the grey part). And in the grey area you can see my copyright. Also the place where I would like to place the rest. When I place the text widget in the footer widget it will appear next to my language widget in the white area at the bottom of the page. But I would like it to be placed in the grey area.

    Hopefully you can help me with it.

    Kind Regards
    Sandra

    Hi,

    I think you are looking to add all the content in the bottom footer i.e. in grey part.
    You cannot do so as it support only copyrite text and cyberchimps link within it.
    So we have added the feature of footer widgets as user may need to add different content in the footer. You have also added the language element in the footer widget. You can do one thing, add the details in the footer widget and change the background color of the footer widget to grey. So that, it will look like the details are in the footer.

    Below is the CSS to change the background color to grey, if you wish to change.

    #footer-full {
    background: #1d1d1d;
    }

    Hope this helps.
