I finally noticed that a 404 was occurring on a site using Aspire pro
The root cause of it was in
    on line 210
There was no default skin selected, so
    wp_enqueue_style( ‘skin-style’, get_template_directory_uri() . ‘/inc/css/skins/’ . $skin . ‘.css’, array( ‘style’ ), ‘1.0’ );
    didn’t have a value for $skin.
Even if it did I think it would still be a 404 since there is no CSS file in that path.
For now I commented it out.

Thanks for letting us know this but can you please share some more details so that we can check the issue and fix it.
    – Can you please let me know the version of the theme, WordPress and PHP version you are using?
    – Can you please share the screenshot of the issue, if possible?
    – Also, where you are getting this error? Is it on any page or in the admin dashboard or in the debug file or in the browser console?
    – Is it affecting any functionality?

Please share above details so that we can replicate the issue and fix it if exist.
Also, please share your site URL too.

    Thank you.

I was seeing it in the browser console in Chrome.
It wasn’t causing any issues per se. However 404’s in WordPress do cause more issues since you are getting the full WP 404 page in response.

I uncommented the line that was enqueuing the missing css
Here is what you see in console
    GET https://www.amyakers.com/wp-content/themes/aspirepro/inc/css/skins/.css?ver=1.0
    jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=1.4.1:2 (index:66)

Newest version of wordpress 4.7.5 and php 5.6, 1.4 of AspirePro.

Like I said not a big deal, just a small annoyance.

Thanks for sharing the details. I checked this link https://www.amyakers.com/wp-content/themes/aspirepro/inc/css/skins/.css?ver=1.0 and yes the error is getting displayed in the browser console.

Can you please let me know how you were redirected to this link? Have you just added a random link or found this link anywhere or click on any link on the site?

I have noted this point and will discuss it.
Once again thanx for letting us know this point.

    Thank you.
