I have to start a new topic here as I could not find anything regarding this question:
could you, please, tell me if the tag clouds widget (with categories, rather than tags)
is responsive in your theme? It doesn’t seem to be as there are big white spaces between
some of the category links. I am not providing a link because I took this widget off.
This happens on small screens – the links are being pushed down in random manner.
Hence my question is this widget can be made responsive.
Thank you.December 23, 2013 at 9:36 am #143632
By default the widget boxes are responsive by nature. But if you have made some customizations regarding this then it might behave as it. So we really need to see your site for going into this problem.December 23, 2013 at 7:02 pm #143677
As Jitendra, we really need to see a site. But if you’re comfortable with CSS, then you’ll want to work with either of these. I believe it’s the white-space property you are wanting to adjust, but we really need to see a site.
You might also need to adjust the font size as well.December 27, 2013 at 10:57 am #143918
Thank you for the replies. I think the problem is more to do with certain phones, specifically Android phones such as HTC or Samsung Galaxy ACE. There is no problem with the tagcloud on iPhones and Blackberries.
For example, it would be good to know if anyone has experienced the following:
the Go button (#searchsubmit button) – there is a little hollow square to the left of the button which seems to show up on Android phones – not on iPhones and Blackberries (the square looks like something we sometimes see in Notepad in place of a line brake or carriage return).
If anyone has experienced this, would you know what it is?
Thanks.December 27, 2013 at 12:24 pm #143930
Sorry, I don’t believe anyone else has ever mentioned that. But we could be interpreting what you’re saying to be something totally different. That’s why we need an actual link where this is occurring to test.December 29, 2013 at 8:01 am #144092
Thanks. It appears that the problem is to do with a certain CSS rule in your theme. Here is a link which deals with this issue:
I would be grateful if you could tell me where I can safely remove this rule so that it doesn’t affect anything else.
Many thanks.December 29, 2013 at 10:02 am #144108
It is very difficult task to tell you anything about this issue without going through your site as we are totally blank about which is causing the problem.
