I love your Responsive theme. I added a social plugin to my website and it works well on all pages (it is placed on the top widget). What the social icons do is to allow people to share that specific page.
This doesn’t happen on the home page, for instance, when you use Google+ the part where the link is showed (the link a user is sharing) appears empty. I struggled with it for a few minutes and the I realized it must be because Responsive allows you to override the regular wordpress home page, which is what I did.
Are there any solutions to this?

Can you provide a link to where this is happening?October 12, 2013 at 5:59 pm #130125
Hi Thomas, thank you, the site is not online yet but you can check it at [link removed]

What plugin are you using? I would look with the plugin author. We are open to working with plugin authors. The Twitter button seems to work but it gives the link: [link removed] instead of [link removed]October 13, 2013 at 12:37 am #130153
Hi, I am using Social Media Feather by Synved, http://synved.com/wordpress-social-media-feather/ how would you recommend to move forward from here? This plugin is doing exactly what I need. For the moment I just need the “share” buttons and I like them to be placed in the top widget, but I like the option for future developments.
If you guys have a social media widget that operates similarly and has been working well with responsive please do let me know.

I do not know of any social media widget as I do not use them much. Lets see what Synved says.October 13, 2013 at 3:47 pm #130238
I opened a support thread with them and mentioned that you guys are up to collaborating on the issue. Not sure of what will follow…October 13, 2013 at 5:41 pm #130258
Looks like the plugin author replied:October 13, 2013 at 6:20 pm #130265
Thank you Thomas, for some reason I didn’t get the notification. Looks like the “clean” solution doesn’t work, the alternative one with less functions does, but I need further thoughts because now the icons are all too big and the options to fix the size is on the widget, through the short code I am guessing that I will need to do some coding. I followed up with Synved.
Any chance that you guys might find out why the home page was giving this issue?
Once again, thanks for the support and great theme.

No problem :)November 3, 2013 at 1:45 pm #134648
I need to ask you a favor, could you kindly remove the website URL from this conversation? It pops up in google search before the actual website and I am not loving it :)
Once again, thanks for the support!
